Workshop Description:

This lovely captured weave allows students to add beads to Chain Maille and create a delightful bracelet with the repetitive weave. Once students learn the weave, they could use more rings and beads to create a matching necklace. A pair of earrings will also be made in the workshop. Most students will probably finish the bracelet in the workshop and will also have the completed matching earrings to wear away on the day.

$30 for the bracelet and earring kit.

The kits will all have silver rings but there will be a choice of colours in the beads, depending on their availability.

For this weave, students will be introduced to ‘Stabby McStabby’ a very useful little tool. There will be ‘Stabbies’ and extra pliers and mats for student use during the class

Students to Bring:

If possible, students should bring a bead mat and a pair of either fine nosed or bent nosed smooth pliers. There will be extra pliers and mats available for use on the day.
