Workshop Description:In days of old when Knights were bold .....Never did remember how that finished. Scale and Chain Maille were initially used by Knights as armour. Most of the Armour was made by a special group of Blacksmiths called Armourers with very heavy guage wire - our wire is much friendlier

This workshop teaches you how to use Scale Maille (the petals) to make a necklace and a pair of matching earrings. It is so easy I expect that you will not only complete the necklace and earrings but, if you want, get another kit and make another one. (Alternatively, have a cuppa and a chat) The pattern is not difficult, the trick is knowing where to put some rings to make the front panel sit properly.
While the photos show two different colour patterns, the number of scales remains the same but the colours are up,to you. As well as the above colours I also have the large scales in Red, Royal Blue, Gold, Silver Mirror, and Green. The smaller scales on the earrings are available in Black, Silver, Green, Frost, Gold, Pink, Black Ice, Royal Blue, Electric Yellow, and Sky Blue

I will have spare kits with me but if you want particular colours you must let me know before 26 March so I can get more supplies. I am coming from Interstate and staying with family for a while before the workshops so am restricted in receiving mail.

Kit/Workshop Materials Cost:$25
Details of kit/workshop materials:Participants will need a mat to catch dropped rings, and a pair of smooth pliers - either fine bent nose or fine flat. Don't worry if you don't have it I will gave plenty spare to yes.
